A natural pelleted straw mulch for reducing watering, suppressing weeds, and regulating soil temperature.

Bare soil dries out quickly, weeds move in, and watering becomes constant, especially in pots and beds during warm weather. Thatcher’s Mulch is designed to protect the soil surface and make growing feel simpler, more manageable and convenient.

Made from organic straw sourced from local farms, the pellets expand when watered, up to 3 times their size, forming a soft golden layer over the soil. This protective cover helps lock moisture in, reduce evaporation, suppress weeds by blocking light, and regulate soil temperature so roots are under less stress.

One application lasts a full growing season. Leave it in place to break down and nourish the soil, or lift it at the end of the season and add it to the compost heap to improve structure. Suitable for all soil types and ideal for beds, borders, containers, and pots.
